Our Take on Diversification Strategies in Southern and Southeast Asia
We recently shared important insights via a blog post for AIRC covering the latest trends and growing opportunities in international education. The blog covers market-specific strategies within Southern and Southeast Asia, focusing mainly on Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Here are some key highlights:
Student Landscape in Asia: While China and India dominate the international student flow to top study destinations, the evolving trends from the rest of Asia provide an interesting story.
Post-COVID Recovery: While some Asian countries are still recovering from the impact of COVID-19 on studying abroad, others show impressive growth in international enrollments.
Country-Specific Strategies: Understanding country-specific market insights such as affordability, economic growth, and student preferences is crucial to maximise recruitment.

Leap at Global Industry Events
We were delighted to attend and present at numerous prestigious events last quarter. Here’s a quick recap.
NAFSA Regionals: Leap’s US team welcomed the opportunity to participate in several NAFSA Regional conferences, including Region V, VIII, and VIII. We presented several insightful presentations on best practices for collaborating with international student recruitment agents.
The Pie Live Boston: As the proud sponsors of The PIE Live North America, we were thrilled to host a memorable dinner gala and facilitate a breakout session. The session dove into tangible strategies for increasing international enrollments. Special thanks to Mihaela Metianu from Florida Atlantic University and MaryKate Johnson from the University of Memphis for sharing their valuable insights.
AIRC's Annual Conference: Our sincere gratitude goes to AIRC for providing the opportunity to interact and learn from partners and industry leaders. The key highlight was a lively session with George Burke from SUNY Albany, where institutions and agents brainstormed to develop training practices aligned with IEM standards.
